Alnwick Castle's Guest Hall is the area's grandest venue for special events. It is one of the main buildings of Salvin's 19th century restoration. Throughout its history it has played host to Castle festivities including the ducal heirs' coming of age celebrations. With its impressive lancet windows, beautiful period interior decoration and spectacular hammer-beam roof the Guest Hall is a fabulous venue.

The Restaurant is a magnificent medieval themed setting offering day visitors the choice of dining indoors or outside in the impressive cobbled Courtyard. By evening, the Restaurant is a wonderfully flexible location. Three connected levels all decorated to reflect the Castle's medieval splendour are ideal for formal dinner parties and less formal occasions such as group dinners, buffets and drinks receptions. Guests also have the opportunity to mingle alfresco in the Courtyard over drinks
