About the venue

Opened in February 2007 the Heartbeat Education Centre (HEC) is a purpose built, state-of-the-art Conference and Events venue based in Southampton.

With a choice of seven fully air-conditioned meeting rooms including a tiered Lecture Theatre with a seating capacity of up to 120 people and a large Conference Room ideal for hospitality events and exhibitions. The HEC offers complete flexibility, whatever the event. Our rooms are equipped with PC/Laptop Provision, DVD/VCR Playback, Data Projectors and Screens. Additionally there is Wireless Connection in the reception and break-out area. We offer a ‘hassle free’ conferencing service where our friendly and helpful staff will make sure your event is a success. They can take care of layout, furniture, all your catering requirements and advise on local transport. Available hourly, daily or long term, all our meeting areas are designed for comfort, practicality and flexibility. They can be arranged in several different styles and our experienced, friendly staff will take the time to discuss your specific needs for the room, so that you can be confident it will meet your particular requirements.
