About the venue

The Morangie House Hotel is a fine Victorian Mansion with 26 individually decorated bedrooms, all furnished to the highest standards.

Each of the rooms has tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, TV and trouser press. The small Ross-shire town of Tain, close by the shores of the Dornoch Firth, has much of interest to the visitor including beaches, bowls, tennis courts and gardens. Granted its charter in 1066 Tain also enjoys a fascinating museum and visitors are welcome at the Famous Glenmorangie Distillery just a few minutes walk away. The area is excellent for the outdoor enthusiast whether it's fishing, shooting, hillwalking or exploring the wonderful Northern Highlands. Tain has a first class golf course and hotel residents are granted discounted green fees. There are many other excellent golf courses within a short distance of the hotel with the world famous championship course at Dornoch only 10 minutes drive away. With such excellent golfing and leisure facilities available the Morangie House Hotel is the perfect setting for your break.
