About the venue

The Royal Air Force Museum Cosford, home to one of the largest and most impressive collections of aviation history is an impressive and unique venue for any event.

The Museum has the flexibility and expertise to cater for a variety of events such as conferences, exhibitions, meetings, gala dinners and dinner dances. The dedicated Corporate Events Team will work with you throughout the event to ensure that every detail is in accordance with your exact requirements no matter how large or small your event may be. Hangar One - Daytime Events Be surrounded by historic aircraft such as the Comet and Varsity. Hangar One is a unique event space for up to 400 delegates theatre style with plenty of additional space among the aircraft for refreshments, workshop areas and exhibition space The 600sqm un-obscured floor space is also ideal for larger exhibitions. Conference Room The purpose built conference room, equipped with a full range of presentation aids, can accommodate conferences for up to 130 delegates. Located on the ground floor the conference room has natural daylight, air-conditioning, black out facilities and a dedicated technician available to assist with your audio-visual requirements. The room is also ideal for smaller meetings, training seminars or breakout rooms for larger events as it sub-divides into two self-contained rooms. Refreshments and lunch will be served in the Visitor Centre which is a stunning part glass building inspired by the shape of a bi-plane complete with wooden flooring and runway lighting to create a dramatic effect. National Cold War Exhibition Auditorium The brand new theatre can seat up to 208 people on tiered seating and has all of the equipment you would expect in a modern meeting room. With all of the equipment already in place, PowerPoint presentations could not be easier, simply turn up with your laptop, plug it in, and begin your presentation. This ensures minimal set up time and adds to the smooth running of your event. In addition, all daytime corporate guests have complimentary access to the Museum including the National Cold War Exhibition between 10am and 6pm.
