About the venue

At Techniquest, we’ve made it easy to host all types of events, from small meetings of 4 delegates to large parties for 500 guests.

We have everything you’ll need for a spectacular waterfront event in Cardiff Bay. Situated in the heart of Cardiff Bay, our architecturally-acclaimed building boasts impressive views of the bay and provides a truly unique venue for both formal and informal events. The 85-seater Science Theatre is fully equipped with audio-visual facilities and is ideal for presentations, lectures and award ceremonies. Themed Techniquest shows hosted by our Science Communicators can also be added to any event package. The Exhibition space can be adapted to host a wide range of events including dinners and networking events. With an exhibition space full of interactive exhibits, there is plenty to see and do. The venue can accommodate a stage for awards, guest speakers or live entertainment. Our AV partners can also help brand the space with lighting, screens and other added extras Techniquest’s 30-seater working Laboratory boasts an integrated screen and projector making it perfect for conferences and team building days. The Lab can be hired out exclusively as part of an event package, or can be used as a breakout space to run workshops, think sessions and other activities.
