About the venue

The Friars (or Aylesford Priory as it is also known) is a 13th Century Retreat House owned by the Carmelite Friars built on the banks of the river Medway.

It is a popular centre of pilgrimage with a guesthouse, extensive conference facilities catering from 2 – 120 people, chapels, coffee and gift shop (housed in the 17th Century West barn), 13th Century dining room, a pottery and upholstery.
