Hidden within the rolling Fife countryside the hotel is an ideal base from which to explore the local area and the many excellent golf courses including Kingsbarns Golf Links. This spectacular course is widely regarded as one of the best examples of golfing architecture in the world and is an integral part of the annual Dunhill Links Championship. Each of the individually designed suites create a discreet home away from home atmosphere and have well appointed bathrooms with slate tiling and chrome furnishings. The suites have satellite television and DVD players in addition to more traditional furniture, intimate lighting and individual prints of Fife's royal family of golf courses. A distinctive dining experience is available in The Barns' restaurant, where the freshest local produce from the neighbouring farms is served daily. The restaurant offers the choicest cuts of fine Scottish beef and lamb as well as freshly caught fish from the Fife coast. There is also an extensive wine cellar that provides a wide selection of wines to perfectly complement your meal. During the summer months alfresco dining is available in the expansive courtyard, overlooking the beautifully manicured gardens. There is much to see and do in the area such as visiting St. Andrews Castle, St. Andrews Cathedral and St. Rule's Tower.
