About the venue

Since our new building opened in 2011, Zinc Arts Centre has been turning heads throughout the arts, education and charity sectors, and beyond.

It's not the wealth of versatile high-quality spaces that makes our centre truly unique, it is instead our socially responsible approach to venue hire that sets us apart from your everyday venue. Venue hire at Zinc Arts Centre actively supports the programmes that we run, with all proceeds being fed back into the high-quality creative activities we deliver to people of all ages and abilities. Zinc Arts Centre has 11 multi-purposes spaces offering visitors a diverse range of possibilities for use. Whether your group is 5, 50 or 150 strong, we have rooms suitable for any group size, and with The Essex Studio we can even accommodate large-scale events, such as conferences, banquets or performances. These versatile rooms offer WiFi internet access, and our centre provides equipment for hire to ensure that you have everything you need to be productive during your stay, including digital projectors, flipchart, cameras, 50" plasma TV, laptop PCs and MacBooks, etc. Our centre also houses a dedicated ICT suite which can accommodate 9 delegates.
