The redeveloped John McIntyre Conference Centre boasts a plenary room for 350 delegates and up to six additional breakout rooms all with high-specification conference facilities. Our spacious conference rooms are ideal for all-day seminars, small business breakfasts or large presentations. During spring and summer vacations, the University of Edinburgh’s teaching facilities become available providing 10 lecture theatres and numerous classrooms. This includes our George Square Lecture Theatre and the impressive Appleton Tower which has five state-of-the-art lecture theatres together with a 560 sqm concourse, ideal for exhibitions. With our delegate management service, we can meet your event needs by offering a seamless, cost-effective package, which will save you time and simplify your delegates registration. Services such as a bespoke website, pre-event registrations, on-site delegate management and post-event reporting are organised by our team of experts while you concentrate on the key elements of your event. Close to the heart of Edinburgh, our venues are conveniently located for easy access to the city centre. Our great value year-round accommodation includes the 3-star Salisbury Green Hotel and Masson House or Kenneth Mackenzie for budget bed and breakfast options. Additionally, during the summer, 2,000 campus bedrooms become hotel rooms, which enhances Edinburgh First’s already impressive portfolio.
