The Britannia Basingstoke Country Hotel offers everything any traveller needs for a comfortable and convenient stay in North Hampshire. The Scures Brasserie and the bar offer a selection of beverages, delicious light bites and hearty meals, while the impressive facilities of the extensive Spindles Health club and spa offers guests the chance to unwind in the heated pool, spa, sauna and steam rooms, as well as partake in an assortment of health and fitness classes.
In addition to being an excellent place to relax and explore North Hampshire, the Britannia Basingstoke Country Hotel is also a prime venue in which to host conferences and other similar events. The hotel boasts two different conference suites, each hosting up to 120 guests in total, which can also be sectioned off into smaller suites if necessary. These large, versatile rooms make the hotel the ideal venue in which to hold a congress, meeting or convention for the Surrey and Hampshire area.

Light airy room, very quiet as it sits to the side of the hotel. The room is very square in shape and has a high ceiling so gives a real feeling of space. The room has 8 sets of Patio doors – 4 on one side and 4 on the opposite side. On one side there is access on to an attractive and well maintained interior courtyard with patio furniture, the other side has Woodland. There is a spacious Foyer attached to the Woodland suite, ideal for drinks reception, coffee breaks of perhaps a finger buffet lunch. This area is particularly nice in the summer as it is mainly a whitewashed glass conservatory. The Woodland Suite has a private bar which is housed behind attractive curtains making the suite ideal for Weddings, Dinner Dances and a whole variety of functions. The „usp“ for the Woodland Suite is the fact we can do fantastic BBQ’s in the outside courtyard with direct access through the Patio doors. Conferences love having evening BBQ’s and additionally our Wedding guests enjoy having a BBQ evening reception rather than a traditional evening finger buffet. As the Bar is concealed behind curtains this also makes the Suite ideal for conferences and Exhibitions. The suite is positioned on the ground floor with direct access from either the front carpark or an adjacent lane so if you are bringing a large set or heavy kit you can pull up outside the suite. The room is perfect for a large Theatre style meeting and we can offer drop down Screen and full PA sytem. Additionally the Foyer area houses both Ladies and Gents Cloakrooms plus separate disabled facilites. 
Mulberry Room

The other half of the Woodland Suite. The Suite is divided centrally by sound proofed partitioning. The Mulberry Suite is lighter than the Cedar and faces onto the attractive and well maintained interior Courtyard which houses patio furniture. and is ideal for Boardroom and Theatre Style meetings. Additionally as being part of the Woodland Suite it is ideal as a break out area from the Ceda or visa versa, should a company wish to take exclusive use. The room also has access to the Woodland foyer where lunch or breaks can be taken. 
Cedar Room

Half of the Woodland Suite. The Suite is divided centrally by sound proofed partitioning. The Cedar Suite faces onto the Woodland side and is ideal for Boardroom and Theatre Style meetings. Additionally as being part of the Woodland Suite it is ideal as a break out area from the Mulberry or visa versa. 
Naseby Suite

The Naseby Suite is made up of 5 sections: Fairfax, Charles, Langdale, Cromwell and Rupert plus there is a Foyer to the Rupert Suite which has direct access from the front carpark. The foyer is an attractive high ceilinged entrance with a stained glass window and there is an elegant staircase leading up to self contained cloakrooms. The Naseby Suite as a whole is rather a long and narrow room with a relatively low ceiling. The room has natural daylight and is ideal for Dinner Dances, private functions/parties and wedding receptions. The room is also ideal for Exhibitions, but is better being broken down into varying sections for conference space. 
Fairfax

The Rupert Suite is the largest of the 5 sections and is the only room to contain 4 mirrored pillars. Additionally there is a self contained private bar housed behind attractive shutters. The Rupert Suite is the only section of the Naseby not to have natural daylight, although the attached foyer does provide some natural light. The Rupert is ideal for a boardroom, u-shape or Caberet style meeting for anything from 15-30 pax. It has self contained cloakrooms plus the additon of the Foyer where teas & coffees or a finger buffet lunch can be served. Access is direct from the front carpark. The Rupert is also ideal for a small private dinner. 
Charles

The Cromwell is part of the Naseby Suite and is the 4th section you get to when walking from the main hotel reception. The room has natural daylight and is ideal for a Boardroom for up to 15 pax, a small classroom or ushape plus a private dinner. The cromwell is ideal for a syndicate room when another part of the Naseby Suite is being used as a main meeting room. Additionally can be added to the Rupert to make a bigger room – or in turn added to the Fairfax, Charles and Langdale to increase the size. Once all other 4 rooms are added it then becomes the Naseby Suite. Room identical in size to the Fairfax, Charles and Langdale.
