About the venue

Grafton Manor was built in 1567 by the Earl of Shrewsbury an important political figure and leading member of the catholic church at the time.

The house was the jewel in the crown of a large prosperous estate and was party to many of the great events in English history including the Gunpowder Plot and the succession of William and Mary. The house has been home to the Morris family since 1945. John (now Lord of Grafton) and June opened Grafton initially as a restaurant and then as a hotel in 1980. With their three children they have worked continuously to improve and develop Grafton. The conference room is situated at the top of the building overlooking the back lawn. It will cater for twelve people and is an ideal venue for senior managers because it is totally private and discreet. At lunch you can enjoy drinks in the Parlour (in front of a log fire). Lunch is tailored to your requirements.
