With a wide range of specialist meeting rooms and conference areas, the RDS has an excellent track record as Ireland's premier venue for conferences.

The RDS has hosted most of the major conferences that have taken place in Dublin over the last 30 years and in 2005 welcomed the 10th European Aids Conference.

Hall 1 (Main Hall) accommodates up to 4,000 theatre style while the Concert Hall, with retractable tiered seating, provides a superb conference venue for up to 900 delegates.

The RDS has also incorporated a number of 'break out' rooms into the complex with capacities ranging from 10 to 1,200 delegates. Conference rooms are also available for use as private hospitality suites with excellent refreshment and catering facilities.

Within 5 minutes walking distance of the RDS are three of Dublin's top hotels, two of which are 5-Star status, and in total provide over 1,000 bedrooms for delegates with extensive leisure facilities.
