About the venue

Visitors to the Scole Inn will be sharing in the company of both kings and thieves, as this 17th Century former coaching inn has provided lodgings for King Charles II and the highwayman John Belcher.

Although there are fantastic fireplaces and a staircase that was hand-carved in the 1600s, the hotel has since modernised and offers guests a choice of 24 en-suite rooms with four poster beds, 12 of which also have working open fireplaces. There is a civil licence for weddings and the restaurant can provide a la carte or table d’hote for all guests. The Scole Inn can also cater for business conferences, with wireless Internet access available for all business communication needs.
