About the venue

The John Milton Room: The large ornate room that is now known as the John Milton Room was built in the middle of the 19th century as a ballroom for the Reverend Hollingsworth and today is the venue for Council meetings, civil ceremonies and conferences.

This room is ideal for formal meetings and small functions, can seat appoximately 20 people and is £12 per hour. Bookings can be made during the hours of 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Please note that the Tudor Room and Dining Room are no longer available for hire.
