The Master Thatcher is a modern public house which offers a relaxing atmosphere with the style of a traditional country inn.

Located close to Taunton town centre and within easy reach of Junction 25 of the M5 it is the perfect place to enjoy a quiet drink or a meal with friends and family. Established in 1996, our purpose built, two-storey public house occupies a central location. Inside, the open plan pub and restaurant area is traditional in design with wooden beamed ceilings, exposed stonewalls and a feature fireplace. Upstairs on the first floor is our fully furnished function suite that presents a bar servery, dance floor and DJ Booth as well as excellent corporate facilities. Our self-contained Function Suite is furnished and decorated to the very highest of standards and has a private bar, washroom and entertainment facilities. It is spacious, bright and elegant and we can cater for numbers of up to 120 people. For corporate events we are able to offer boardroom style facilities including a large screen and projector if required.
