The Tudor Oaks Lodge is a coaching inn, dating back many hundreds of years.
The main house is the oldest part being an H framed oak timber building, a Jacobean staircase was added later. It is reputed to have been frequented by highwayman and weary traveller alike on their long journey’s the length of England, the site is also mentioned in the Doomsday book. Since those fascinating and romantic days the Tudor Oaks is still an oasis for the traveller, offering an old fashioned welcome with a smile and a commitment to providing service and a luxurious relaxing rest. Conference facilities are also available with a 200 space on-site car park.
