Situated in the heart of the city, Worcestershire County Cricket Club is far more than a sporting venue.

Here at New Road, we can offer our incredible facilities to host a plethora of functions. Building a reputation as Worcestershire’s premier events destination, our six main venue spaces can host events for up to 220 guests at any one time. Whether it is a small, intimate event, or a large-scale, milestone celebration, our expert and attentive team are on hand to help you deliver an unforgettable event. With a dedicated Events Co-ordinator for each individual booking, we make sure your needs and desires are our top priority, with your event journey a seamless transition from the first meeting and discussion of ideas right through until the delivery of your function. Situated on the riverbanks of the famous River Severn and set against the iconic backdrop of the enchanting Worcester Cathedral, the mesmerising, panoramic views from around the venue make for a truly bespoke experience. Your experience starts with our ‘warm Worcestershire welcome’ that is provided by all of our staff at every event, representative of our welcoming and friendly culture that is widespread across our team, which only helps to make your time at New Road as relaxed and comfortable as possible. Our Meeting Rooms offer smaller, more intimate spaces for exclusive and private events, while The BEARD Terrace and The View suites offer panoramic views of the ground with stylish balconies and elegant, contemporary interiors. For more spacious and larger venue spaces, the Graeme Hick Pavilion and the Chestnut Marquee provide capacity for up to 200 guests, whilst offering striking views of the pitch and gorgeous surroundings. Ahead of 2026, we are proud to unveil our “Worcestershire Sourced” commitment, that has seen the Club pledge to source 90% of all produce at the ground from local, county-based suppliers. Our refreshed dining experience in all of our event spaces, celebrates quality by championing local producers and brings the very best of our county to your plate. By working closely with our partners, we are proud to support local businesses while elevating every aspect of your experience. From classics to refined hospitality dining, our renewed ‘Signature’ and ‘Premium’ menus bring together tradition and innovation in equal measure.
