    Arley Hall and Gardens is the home of Viscount and Viscountess Ashbrook, offering a magnificent historic house, internationally acclaimed gardens and over 2,000 acres of park, farm and woodland. In a rural location conveniently situated within 20 miles of Manchester, Liverpool, Chester and Warrington and just five minutes drive from M56 J10 and M6 J19. The venue has 200 free of charge parking spaces. The estate's park, woodland and private roads is a popular venue for car launches and outdoor activities including clay pigeon shooting, quad biking and teambuilding exercises. The Park is also host to numerous events such as firework concerts, horse trials and country fairs and the Walled Garden also provides an intimate venue for musicals and theatre. A new and exciting project opened its doors in January 2009, 'Olympia', a state of the art conference and banqueting facility opened for private bookings, weddings, parties or any corporate day or conference.     Tabley House was designed by John Carr of York for Sir Peter Byrne Leicester, Bt., and completed ca.1767.With its nine-bay central block facing south, flanked by pavilions and quadrant passages set well back and splendid Doric portico reached by curved stairs, Tabley is the only 18th century Palladian country house in Cheshire. Tabley House is a Grade 1 mansion set in delightful parkland is ideal for civil ceremonies. The elegant licensed rooms, overlooking the lake, are reached via a splendid staircase. After marrying in the Great Gallery with its magnificent pictures, furniture and flamboyance, couples can entertain, using their own suppliers, during the photocalls, and can then leave for their reception elsewhere or a marquee location in the grounds.
