Whately Hall Banbury commands quite a presence. For several hundred years, it has maintained its original charm and old-fashioned allure. However, these days it also offers modern amenities and conveniences in the heart of Banbury. Close to Banbury Cross and other famous attractions, the Hotel Whately Hall Banbury boasts a fantastic location. It offers easy access to such notable landmarks as Broughton Castle, Upton, and the picturesque acres of the Cotswolds and rural Oxfordshire. With its privileged address right on Banbury Cross, the hotel makes a perfect home base from which to explore the entire region. Back at the hotel, 69 comfortable guest rooms and unique amenities await to welcome you home. Among the establishment’s more notable features are a croquet lawn and high-tech conference facilities. A gourmet restaurant, a stylish bar, wireless Internet access (fees apply) and free parking are also available. Meanwhile, the front desk is open 24 hours a day. The entire compound is surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens, and the hotel’s architecture is its own attraction. Built in 1632, the hotel still shows many signs of its origins: Pay close attention to the original oak paneling, the black beams, and the warm hospitality that seems almost old-fashioned.
