    The British Library is not only the national library of the United Kingdom but also one of the world’s greatest academic institutions. Opened in 1998, the library is now hailed as a great triumph of design and technology as well as one of the greatest repositories of library materials which include over 150 million items, with some material dating from 3000 years ago. The British Library’s state of the art Conference Centre has its own private entrance from the Piazza and offers exceptional and flexible facilities for conferences, meetings, product launches, lectures, private screenings and media events. An impressive staircase leads from the manned reception area with dedicated cloakroom to the upper level and a lift for wheelchair access to the upper floor.     The Gallery is a blank canvas, central London events venue available for exclusive hire for product launches, exhibitions, meetings, parties or functions. Its location, in the heart of the west end, and completely adaptable white walled setting make this space ideal for any event. The venue stretches over two floors with an exclusive entrance, private bar and large windows overlooking Soho. The Gallery Soho can be hired on a dry hire basis where we simply provide the venue or our on-site events team can fully cater for your event. The venue’s ideal central London location has great transport links making easy access for clients. Arranged over two floors, different event requirements can be catered for on different levels of the building. Each floor has a maximum capacity of 150 people which allows us to cater for both small and large events by opening up different parts of the building. The gallery has a fully equipped on site kitchen and bar, HD projector and Bose sound system. Our onsite events team, work closely with our clients to tailor the venue to suite each event’s particular requirements.

    The Royal College of Art is one of the world’s best known postgraduate art and design universities, and our students’ work is shown throughout the year in the extensive College galleries. These galleries are also available to hire for external exhibitions and events, and represent a vital contribution to the College’s Student Fund, which exists to support future generations of artists and designers. Designed in the early 1960s by modernist master HT Cadbury-Brown (1913-2009), the Grade-II listed building has been praised as, ‘an extraordinary building contextually that respects the Victorian buildings around it’. The Royal College of Art is situated in Kensington, west London, next to the imposing Royal Albert Hall and opposite Kensington Gardens. This prime location makes the College easily accessible by both bus and underground. The galleries consist of eight exhibition spaces: the Entrance Gallery, the Upper Gulbenkian Gallery, the Lower Gulbenkian Gallery, the Henry Moore Gallery, the Link Gallery and the three Courtyard Galleries. The College also has a fully equipped lecture theatre. In addition, the exclusive Senior Common Room, which houses part of the College’s famous collection of art, provides an ideal venue for private receptions and dinners. The galleries comprise a total of 1,532 square metres of white space, and form one of the finest venues for hire in London. These spaces are available together or individually, and are a ‘blank canvas’ that can easily be reconfigured to suit any event.
