Original chandeliers from the hotel's opening in 1902 and the beautiful ornate cornicing provide the perfect setting for a conference (120 people) and 200 guests for cocktails. Waverley The Waverley Suite, situated on the ground floor, has large windows along one side of the wall with views of The Old Town and Arthur's Seat. Suitable for up to 70 guests theatre style, 40 guests in "U" shape seating or up to 60 guests for a dinner. The Waverley adjoins the Holyrood Suite and can be used either as a syndicate room or for pre-dinner drinks. Princes The Princes Suite faces directly onto one of Europe's most famous thoroughfares, Princes Street. Natural daylight is provided by the vast windows, which stretch two sides of the room. A magnificent fireplace along with original chandeliers and beautiful cornicing provide a regal setting, suitable for a variety of occasions, including 120 guests for cocktails and 60 people theatre-style. The Second Floor of The Balmoral offers six stunning banqueting rooms, which all face Edinburgh Castle.
