    Windsor Orchard Lea

    Windsor Orchard Lea

Drift Road Winkfield Windsor SL4 4RU United Kingdom, SL4 4RU
    • Hotel

The centre is located in a magnificent period mansion house in an attractive rural location on the Crown Estates, on the borders of Windsor and Ascot. This is an inspiring working environment with modern offices set among a wealth of period features retaining the original character of the building in communal areas. It is surrounded by an acre of land with gardens offering a fantastic breakout area for clients. This oasis of calm is deceptively close to essential business amenities. Communications are excellent with public transport, motorways and London Heathrow Airport within easy reach. Ascot town centre is just three miles away and the centre is equidistant from the towns of Windsor, Bracknell and Maidenhead. These towns form part of the eastern section of the M4 corridor, home to a large number of businesses, which is sometimes described as England's Silicon Valley because the information economy is so heavily concentrated here.

    Queens Eyot

    Queens Eyot

Eton College Rowing Centre Dorney Lake Windsor, SL4 6QP
    • Unusual

Queen's Eyot is a secluded four acre island on the Thames, a few miles upstream from Windsor. The island is accessed by its own private ferry so it is a perfect and unusual venue for both corporate and private hire. The island has been owned by Eton College since 1923, and has a beautiful clubhouse built in a classical style from cedar and pine, decorated throughout with memorabilia from the College's illustrious rowing history. The word Eyot (pronounced 'eight') is old English and means 'a small island' and is used almost exclusively to describe islands on the Thames. The clubhouse is surrounded by extensive, well tended lawns and mature trees and has views of passing boats and wildlife on the river. On a day delegate package the island, clubhouse and all facilities will be exclusively yours for the day. Queen's Eyot is a secluded, private and conveniently located venue close to London with easy transport links and a special and unique character. Since the island can only be reached by boat, it is ideal for board meetings and discreet conferences with no distractions. The stylishly refurbished clubhouse can accommodate up to 50 delegates (160 with the addition of a marquee). Our four acres of grounds are ideal for various types of team building or fun activities suitable for conference intervals or ice breakers. For example, we can organise dragon boat racing, It's a Knockout or spy games. There is excellent overnight accommodation at nearby luxury and standard hotels. Giant garden Jenga, bowls, croquet, draughts, chess, connect 4 or boules can be provided at no additional cost.
