ROOM is the exclusive one bedroom, 69 sqm suite, designed and created by Turner Prize-winning British sculptor, Antony Gormley. ROOM is a modular piece made of stainless steel and fumed oak, commissioned as a piece of public art for the hotel. The Lotos Room The Lotos Room is the hotel's boardroom and private dining room. Located on the lower ground floor of The Beaumont, it provides privacy and exclusivity and will have a capacity of 16 guests for a board meeting or up to 48 guests for a private breakfast, lunch or dinner. The Cub Room The Cub Room is the Resident's Bar and Lounge and is purely for the use of the hotel's guests. Open from early until late, with dark wooden panels and muted decor, the lounge has a relaxed and tranquil atmosphere. The Colony Grill Room A Grill Room in the Grand Hotel style, as traditionally experienced both in London and New York – classic and yet casual. As well as Grills there will be classical dishes from both sides of the Atlantic – whether a Caesar’s salad made at your table, grouse with all the trimmings or Strawberries Romanoff. Open seven days a week from 7am until late. American Bar The American Bar will be open to both hotel residents and the general public every day from 11am until late.

    Fitzroy House is an original 1791 building imitating the designs of Robert Adam, the famous Georgian period architect who along with his brother designed Fitzroy Square. The house is one of the last remaining structures on the block that retains its original external architecture and now shows the life and work of L. Ron Hubbard. The house comprises four impressive floors, one of which is dedicated to an exhibition of Ron Hubbard's early life from boy scout to explorer. It also illustrates his career as one of the top fiction writers in the 1930s and 40s and his later achievements in the humanities. As he holds the Guinness Book of World Records title for Most Published Author (1,084 publications) one of the floors is appropriately dedicated to his literary works. We welcome visitors from around the world to step into this 1950s time capsule where they can view original manuscripts, rare edition books and artifacts relating to the life of one of the most prominent authors of the 20th century.     We’re on site with this building which was originally constructed in 1913 for Smiths Industries. They made the first ever Speedometers for the motor car so we have some industrial heritage with the building, albeit much of it has been destroyed over the years. Still, we’re working hard with architects Stiff & Trevillion to pull some of that character back. We’re also moving our head office into part of the space so the design may have a little bit of everything we like from our other buildings. Expect a combination of industrial/contemporary style mixed with vintage/modern furniture and lighting. The overall feel will be light and young with a hint of this building’s history. At the top end of Great Portland Street, the building is very close to our Henry Wood House, so all of those facilities are available, but 179 GPS will have plenty of it’s own, with lounges and drop-in working, bike storage and showers. We’re right by Regent’s Park if you fancy joining our running or cycling clubs. And loads of restaurants right by the front door to carb up once done, from Villandry to Portland to Demartino, the most understated but fantastic Italian. A great meeting needs a great meeting room. The rooms are tailored to specific types of meeting both in design and technology and are available by the hour or the day.
