Fieldhead Campsite is situated in Edale, a picturesque village at the start of the Pennine Way. The village has two public houses, two cafes and a post office / general store all within 500m of the site. The campsite is owned by the Peak District National Park Authority and is located at the Moorland / Visitor Information Centre. Tent pitches are spread over six fields with a separate family field and a small riverside field which is dedicated to backpackers only. There is a separate car park next to the camping fields which have no vehicle access ensuring a quieter, peaceful stay.

Archie’s restaurant is situated in Sandiacre 5minutes from the M1 motorway junction 25 and the A52 to Derby approximately 15 minutes and Nottingham approximately 20 minutes. This 100 year old former barn which was converted in 2006 is full of charm and character with wooden beams and high ceilings adding to it’s unique welcoming atmosphere. Archie’s offers conference facilities for up to 60 delegates including ground and first floor meeting space with wireless broadband connection, audio-visual equipment, flip charts and desk pads etc. Choose one floor for your meeting and another floor to relax away from the working environment whilst enjoying your choice of either full service or buffet style menus. Our largest floor can accommodate up to 38 delegates depending on seating style. Archie’s only facilitates one meeting at any one time allowing us to focus our attention on your specific requirements, with our friendly efficient staff and flexible arrangements you won’t find a better venue.

The Parish Halls are built on land purchased over 90 years ago: in 1915 a farm house and roughly one acre of land were purchased to ‘preserve the rural beauty of the church'. In 1923/4 the farm buildings were adapted for use by the church. This development, together with the cross on Ecclesall Road and the panels on the south wall of the church, were a memorial to the men from Ecclesall who died in the 1914-18 war. There were significant further developments in 1960 and subsequently there has been an ongoing programme of refurbishment and improvements. A stair lift has recently been installed to give better disabled access to the main hall.
