With its royal history, as the birthplace of both Henry VIII and Elizabeth I, the Old Royal Naval College was built originally as a hospital for veteran sailors and Admiral Lord Nelson lay in state in its Painted Hall prior to his funeral. The combination of Royal & Naval history and World heritage site status makes the Old Royal Naval College a unique venue location. The College also has the point of difference where guests can arrive by boat on the River Thames.

Royal Museums Greenwich is proud to offer the historic Queen’s House as a beautiful setting for daytime events. Located at the heart of the celebrated UNESCO World Heritage Site in Greenwich, The Queen’s House is the earliest example in England of classical architecture and one of Inigo Jones’ few surviving major works. The house was commissioned by Queen Anne of Denmark in 1616 and is situated at the foot of Greenwich Royal Park with a commanding view over the Thames and Canary Wharf. To mark its 400th year anniversary the house is undergoing an incredible restoration project to return the house to its former Baroque splendour. During the day, this formal royal villa, boasts a beautiful suite of rooms for hire, facing the internationally renowned Royal Observatory Greenwich. On Wednesday and Thursday the spaces used for day time events for up to 50 guests consist of the South East and South West Parlours plus two small cabinet rooms, which are ideal as breakout spaces. Also within this space is the Orangery where lunches and refreshments can be served. On Fridays and Saturdays the whole house is available for daytime hire for events up to 120 guests. The main entertaining space is the Great Hall which retains the original black and white marble tiles and is a truly iconic display of British Palladian grandeur. Exquisite outdoor space in the surrounding grounds and colonnades are included with every hire making the Queen’s House and spectacular spot for summer entertaining.

Gracepoint is an historic Grade II* listed building located in the heart of Islington. Built by famous architect George Coles, the venue has a magnificent Art Deco style façade, infused with an Egyptian theme, dressed in multi coloured Hathernware tiles. Inside the building the décor changes to an Empire design with Egyptian touches in the foyer and then into the auditorium which has a beautiful French Renaissance style. Gracepoint has recently been refurbished and the original décor being restored. Gracepoint offers auditorium style seating with a capacity of over 900. There are full stage facilities including a 26ft deep stage and four back of house areas. A cloakroom and large reception area precede the main event space. Gracepoint is an ideal venue to host conferences, presentations, product launches, screenings and performance led activities. The venue is virtually adjacent to Essex Road National Rail station, and walking distance of Highbury & Islington underground station.

Originally built in the 1930s as an extension to Shoreditch Town Hall, The Office Rivington Street is in the heart of Shoreditch. We’ve worked with artists to ensure the design stays true to the area whilst retaining many original art deco features. The 7 meeting rooms lead onto a large lounge space with different areas and a kitchen. The rooms vary in style from private interview spaces and brainstorming rooms to a generous board room equipped with AV, whiteboard and LCD screen and of course lots of natural light. Available for private hire, there’s also a green roof to complement the variety of green materials which make up the building.

The Click is award winning learning and community facility bringing state-of-the-art technology to the heart of South Leytonstone. It was conceived and is managed in partnership with the local community who wanted to make modern skills more accessible to all. This landmark building has 12 computers on the ground floor that are available for hire (although some sessions are free) with staff on hand to help and guide you through the latest technology. The Click Centre aims to develop the potential of each person to the fullest, regardless of their level of ability, so that they can be enabled to lead as independent and as satisfying a life as possible. It provides free basic skills and computer courses for unemployed individuals seeking to access employment. Courses offered include Learndirect, ECDL, City & Guilds. The centre also encourages sustainable economic growth and wealth creation by improving the capacities and competitiveness of the local economy through the provision of ICT training and support to local community and voluntary organizations and small businesses
