Fennes is easy to find. By road it is just 19 miles from Stansted Airport and the M11, and Stansted station is under 1 hour from London. The four principal reception rooms are suited to a variety of corporate layouts. From formal boardroom to informal gatherings or theatre-style arrangements to break-out spaces - all are possible under one roof! The Banqueting Hall and Pavilion have good acoustics, the house also enables several different functions to be in operation simultaneously. For example - a formal meeting could be conducted in the Dining Room while a discussion forum would be possible in the Drawing Room. A number of rooms overlook our large lawn. If the weather is good, and the activity suited, this is a useful addition to the interior spaces. Team building exercises, launch parties or elegant summer picnics can be enjoyed here.

Rooms We can comfortably accommodate around 60 delegates in an informal arrangement, utilising circular tables, or up to 80 in a more traditional theatre style format. Conversely, for smaller gatherings High Barn can also offer an intimate and convivial setting. In addition to the main barn, a smaller, self-contained meeting room with kitchenette is also available. Overlooking the countryside, with an outside decked area, this room will accommodate up to 10 delegates. As well as the main barn and meeting room, we have syndicate rooms ideal for small groups.     Hedingham Castle's Norman keep, 110 feet high, was built c.1140 by Aubrey de Vere and is still owned by one of his descendants, The Honourable Thomas Lindsay and his wife Virginia.
