    The Radlett Centre is a high calibre and immaculately maintained building with facilities to service a variety of needs. The staff are friendly, professional and offer all the support necessary to ensure the success of your event. LARGER FUNCTIONS/MEETINGS The fully equipped theatre has electronic raked seating and can accommodate 300 people. With the seating away it converts into a function/conference hall which comfortably holds 180 people for a seated meal, or more with a combination of seated and standing. It is very popular for barmitzvahs and wedding receptions. SMALLER GATHERINGS The Radlett Centre has three rooms suitable for meetings of between 2 and 50 people. These are available to hire for a minimum of two hours at very competitive rates. The Manager will be pleased to advise which room best suits your needs and budget. CATERING We are able to supply a range of catering to meet your specific requirements. This includes tea, coffee and other drinks, plus buffets to fit your budget. We also have a fully stocked licensed bar. THEATRE The theatre has excellent technical facilities and is suitable for a wide variety of medium scale productions. A specification sheet is available from the Technical Manager (01923 856011) or may be downloaded from the link below. The auditorium can be set up in a number of layouts up to a maximum of 300 seats, with an option for an orchestra pit. Backstage facilities include dressing rooms with showers, Green Room, scenery dock and kitchen. Our computerised box office is open 10am - 4pm Monday - Saturday and 45 minutes before an evening performance (01923 859291). FUNCTION/CONFERENCE HALL The theatre converts into a spacious hall that is ideal for large gatherings. Coloured uplighters can be used to give a warm effect for private parties, contrasting with a brighter and more business-like appearance for conferences, craft fairs and other commercial uses. Hire includes our banqueting furniture, the stage, reception area, staffed licensed bar and Duty Manager. DOUGLAS HICKS ROOM A prestigious room on the first floor with balcony windows. This is suitable for more formal gatherings, for examples AGMs, training sessions and business meetings. The room comfortably accommodates up to 50 people depending on the layout required. TV & Video, overhead projector, screen and flip charts are available. MEETING ROOM 2 Although less formal than the Douglas Hicks Room, Meeting Room 2 is perfect for classes, training sessions and general Meetings for around 20 people. The gallery outside makes a perfect waiting area MEETING ROOM 1 This room is suitable for small meetings accomodating up to 8 people seated. It is light and airy whilst remaining sound-proof and private.

    The Bull is a beautiful Grade II listed Pub and Dining Room at 13 North Hill in Highgate, N6. Set up by the owners of The House in Islington it brings a top class eating and drinking establishment to the businesses and residents of Highgate. Like The House in Islington, the emphasis is on food. Executive Head Chef, Jeremy Hollingsworth, who gained a Michelin star for Marco Pierre White’s Quo Vadis in 1997, will be cooking a menu of simple European dishes, mostly British with a strong French influence. Everything is home-made on the premises from the best quality ingredients in season. The Bull is open for lunch and dinner. There are daily specials running alongside the seasonally changing A La Carte and, during the week, an Express Lunch will be served at a great value £14.95 for two courses and £17.95 for three. The Bull is a free house. It serves Staropramen, Stella and Leffe lager on tap and two cask ales, Timothy Taylors and Highgate I.P.A. As well as the usual excellent quality spirits and minerals, The Bull has a liqueur trolley with speciality Armagnac, Cognac and Eaux de Vie. The extensive wine list devised by top Sommelier, Joelle Marti Baron incorporates some fine vintage wines for the ‘Extravaganza’ section. The Bull has two floors. On the ground floor is the ‘dining room’, an open plan room with extensive banquette seating, bespoke wooden tables, a mahogany bar and a real fire. The room is informal and intimate and perfect for dining. In the Summer, windows and doors fold back onto the outside terrace for al fresco dining. The first floor is the ‘pub’ with beautiful floor to ceiling windows, open fire, cherry wood bar and more relaxed furnishings mixing traditional and modern. This room also houses an original American pool table and an open fire. FUNCTIONS Meetings, parties and weddings are happily catered for. The Bull has a private dining room which can seat 20 people for a sit-down meal. Set menus from £30, £35 and £50. The first floor can be closed off for private parties or the whole venue can be hired exclusively. We will organise canapés or a buffet for groups of 25 people or more.

    A new all-day brasserie named Blixen, from Village London founder Clive Watson, is set to open in Old Spitalfields Market in February 2015. The informal, two-storey, 120-seat site will serve an all-day food menu, plus drinks and cocktails in its cocktail bar, and also feature an18-seat private finding room. First announced in September this year, the new site will take the place of the former Italian restaurant Sweet Basil. The emphasis will be on fresh, simple food and coffee, plus a small wine list, and a selection of yet-to-be-finalized original cocktails. The venture ‒ which is from the newly-founded Colonie Restaurants Group ‒ has been launched by restaurateur Clive Watson and his friend and business associate Justin Gilbert from Coriander Buildings.

    Dead Dolls House run by our pals Adam and Kate deserve every single ounce of credit they get for their inconspicuous private members club now at their new snazzy location in Islington. Good news too for any misguided individuals out there who don’t have membership – now everyone is welcome. There’s a lot that makes it worth a visit but we’d go for their new bar snacks alone. Insanely good. Situated over three floors, this building with a capacity for 400 services all your going out needs - a public bar in the downstairs parlour, members ballroom in the upstairs attic and 2 private hire rooms. Their new home also has the advantage of being open until 4am and will play host to live Jazz and Swing on Thursdays and Sundays with resident DJ’s playing on Fridays and Saturdays. Kate’s painstaking and beautiful drawings that cover the walls and are the pièce de resistance in regards to the decor and when it comes to food, the guest chefs do not disappoint. Great atmosphere, more than affordable, and perfect for company, intimate dates or big groups included.

    Fitzroy House is an original 1791 building imitating the designs of Robert Adam, the famous Georgian period architect who along with his brother designed Fitzroy Square. The house is one of the last remaining structures on the block that retains its original external architecture and now shows the life and work of L. Ron Hubbard. The house comprises four impressive floors, one of which is dedicated to an exhibition of Ron Hubbard's early life from boy scout to explorer. It also illustrates his career as one of the top fiction writers in the 1930s and 40s and his later achievements in the humanities. As he holds the Guinness Book of World Records title for Most Published Author (1,084 publications) one of the floors is appropriately dedicated to his literary works. We welcome visitors from around the world to step into this 1950s time capsule where they can view original manuscripts, rare edition books and artifacts relating to the life of one of the most prominent authors of the 20th century.
