    OPEN is located in the heart of Norwich in the Grade II listed grandeur of the former regional headquarters of Barclays Bank. We are one of the largest and most versatile function venues in Norwich, offering bespoke facilities for everything from a small meeting to a larger conference, fundraising dinner, trade fair, concert, wedding or fashion show. Whatever your event we are ideally located, within walking distance of the main line railway station and with Norwich's international airport just a short taxi journey away. Our Banking Hall can hold up to 240 cabaret style, 500 people seated theatre style or 1450 standing, benefitting from a massive 7m presentation screen, and full disabled access. We also have six smaller function rooms which can accommodate meetings for two or presentations for 20-50 in a variety of different layouts. We can offer a wide range of services designed to complement any event perfectly, including plasma screens, hearing loop systems, flipcharts and technical support, incorporating sound, lighting and audio visual. We can also offer fully licensed on-site catering facilities. OPEN was established to provide opportunities for young people in Norfolk including those who are most disadvantaged, with the longer term aim of making a positive difference to their lives. Through the hire of our facilities we are able to offer a variety of activities and services free of charge for young people aged between 7 - 25.

Both Halls have 3 phase power, public address, wireless internet facilities and with high quality in-house catering combine to make this an ideal venue for delegate numbers up to 500.

Four rooms seating from eight to eighty are available for hire. Their individual character and varying sizes accommodate a wide range of events, from meetings, conferences and training courses to concerts, corporate entertaining, christmas lunches, wedding receptions and other social functions.     Dragon Hall is a Grade 1 listed medieval building that will provide a unique and special venue for any occasion. It is steeped in history and provides a range of spaces that are suited to a wide variety of events and functions. The beautiful and atmospheric Great Hall is the perfect setting for a memorable civil wedding or partnership ceremony, an anniversary or birthday celebration or any other special occasion. The hall can also provide an intimate setting for a variety of performances and activities such as music, theatre, poetry, comedy and dance. It is an inspiring environment for lectures, meetings and conferences. The Events Room is a modern, well-equipped space on the ground floor of the new extension of this historic complex. It is ideal for smaller events such as seminars, talks, meetings and even children's parties. The gallery is a new space at the rear of the building constructed mainly of glass. This is a light and open space overlooking the courtyard garden that may be hired out for small receptions or used together with the Great Hall or other spaces. Dragon Hall is situated on King Street, by the River Wensum. We are only 5 minutes walk from Norwich city centre and 10 minutes walk from the railway station.

The venue boasts a number of professional sprung floor dance and drama studios, meeting rooms and a high spec studio theatre which seats 110 seat people.
