Conference venues. We have experience of working with large groups up to 400 in number. We have motivational speakers and consultants who will help you to design your conference programme. If this is a major conference we can also arrange production companies with whom we have experience of working to stage your event. For indoor events we have a range of involving exercises that can be employed to connect with your corporate or divisional messages. We enjoy working with your executives to coach them in presentation skills. “Death by PowerPoint” can be a thing of the past. We have a longer more complex outdoor exercise called “Service Company”; this will take two sessions (6-8 hours) and can be customised for your conference location to involve teams of up to 100 people. We also regularly design outdoor exercises to specific themes. These can be competitive or co-operative.

As well as being a sporting facility, Rhayader Leisure Centre is also a social hub for the local community and any surrounding businesses. We have the capacity to host various meetings and social functions in a light, friendly environment close to the centre of Rhayader. The Centre is used by many organisations for holding meetings/conferences and seminars. The Wye Lounge can accommodate 80 people Theatre Style, 35 Boardroom style. The Small Lounge can accommodate 45 Theatre Style and 35 Boardroom Style and the Main Hall can accommodate up to 400 people Theatre Style. A range of audio visual equipment is available including Overhead projectors, Flipchart Stands, TV and Video. The Centre uses two external caterers who can provide a simple finger buffet through to elaborate menus to suit every occasion. The Centre is available for hosting a wide range of social functions including concerts, pantomimes, discos, wedding parties, birthday parties, anniversaries, christenings,plays, line dancing, charity fayres, farmers markets etc. The Wye Lounge has a licensed bar which can operate during normal licensing hours and the Main Hall can be licensed by the local magistrates on request. The Main Hall can accommodate 400 people seated and 350 people for dancing.

Opened in 2002, MRC provides a professional yet relaxing environment for meetings, conferences and training. Our 7 larger rooms are fitted with data projectors, sound systems and can be used for Powerpoint, Video and DVD presentations. We have 12 rooms of various sizes, seating from 6 to 100 people. Catering is provided by our own professional kitchen and all food is freshly prepared for each group. There is a large Car Park, with further public parking facilities within easy walking distance.
