White Vine House is situated in the heart of the ancient Cinque Port town of Rye. The hotel’s origins go back to the 13th century. A handsome Georgian frontage has been added since then but essentially the building retains much of its distinguished Medieval and Elizabethan character. The beautiful oak panelling in the Elizabethan Dining Room and the Club Room is amongst the treasures of Rye, dating from around 1560. There are five double rooms, a family room and one single. One has a four-poster bed. All have been refurbished and have beautiful period furniture and luxury bath or shower rooms. Rye itself with its cobbled streets, antique and craft shops and medieval citadel makes for an enchanting weekend or short break. There is also much to see in the area. Camber Sands has been a secret haunt of fashionistas for years. The conference room is ideally suited for small and private informal meetings and conference events, looking to encourage "blue sky thinking", lateral debate and creative 'brainstorming'. The meeting and conference room has a light oak floor, the walls and ceiling are painted in natural tones and the light oak tables can be configured into a variety of formats, from a more 'formal' boardroom layout to an 'informal' setting using the mix of tub chairs and settees. Two sets of doors open out onto a private decked area perfect for 'al fresco' meetings and dining. All of our 18 bedrooms are simply but comfortable decorated using natural fabrics. The beds are gloriously comfortable- the very best mattresses, soft duvets, feather or hypo-allergenic pillows and Egyptian cotton sheets. There is a choice of twin, double, triple and family size rooms all with remote controlled TV's. The rooms feature stunningly white en-suite bathrooms, complete with thick fluffy white towels and spa therapy toiletries.
