    There are ten Museum sites, all offering very unique facilities. For the larger event the Engine Shop offers a 400 seat banqueting/conference hall within a recently refurbished Grade II listed building. The impressive ceiling height of this venue and easy vehicular access also make it perfect for small exhibitions and product launches. On the same site at Coalbrookdale, there is also the Elton Art Gallery, ideal for an intimate reception, the Covered Bays, perfect for a summer barbecue, the glass fronted meeting room, a modern conference facility for up to 150 and also the Boardroom, a magnificent room suitable for up to 100 delegates. The Blists Hill Museum, an authentically reconstructed Victorian Town, offers exciting and unique possibilities for an Organiser. The Forest Glen Pavilion is a beautiful Victorian Tearoom which, together with its adjacent fun fair, is a particularly enchanting way to entertain 120 guests. Or the whole town, including the many period shops and a Victorian Pub can be hired for the evening as an add on to events. Adjacent to the Engine Shop is the truly amazing new hands on technology centre, Enginuity, which provides a highly enjoyable and unforgettable venue for pre-dinner drinks or even a buffet dinner, where your guests can become apprentice engineers for the evening.

    The Royal Air Force Museum Cosford, home to one of the largest and most impressive collections of aviation history is an impressive and unique venue for any event. The Museum has the flexibility and expertise to cater for a variety of events such as conferences, exhibitions, meetings, gala dinners and dinner dances. The dedicated Corporate Events Team will work with you throughout the event to ensure that every detail is in accordance with your exact requirements no matter how large or small your event may be. Hangar One - Daytime Events Be surrounded by historic aircraft such as the Comet and Varsity. Hangar One is a unique event space for up to 400 delegates theatre style with plenty of additional space among the aircraft for refreshments, workshop areas and exhibition space The 600sqm un-obscured floor space is also ideal for larger exhibitions. Conference Room The purpose built conference room, equipped with a full range of presentation aids, can accommodate conferences for up to 130 delegates. Located on the ground floor the conference room has natural daylight, air-conditioning, black out facilities and a dedicated technician available to assist with your audio-visual requirements. The room is also ideal for smaller meetings, training seminars or breakout rooms for larger events as it sub-divides into two self-contained rooms. Refreshments and lunch will be served in the Visitor Centre which is a stunning part glass building inspired by the shape of a bi-plane complete with wooden flooring and runway lighting to create a dramatic effect. National Cold War Exhibition Auditorium The brand new theatre can seat up to 208 people on tiered seating and has all of the equipment you would expect in a modern meeting room. With all of the equipment already in place, PowerPoint presentations could not be easier, simply turn up with your laptop, plug it in, and begin your presentation. This ensures minimal set up time and adds to the smooth running of your event. In addition, all daytime corporate guests have complimentary access to the Museum including the National Cold War Exhibition between 10am and 6pm.

    The Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre offers a range of activities, past-times and opportunities to everyone and anyone. The brand-new Secret Hills exhibition which opened in May 2008 tells some of the stories of the Shropshire Hills and features a new and improved film panorama of the Shropshire Hills, made during numerous balloon flights over the area. Great for families, educational visits or groups. You could simply pop in for a cup of tea in the cafe, to buy a card from the Gift Shop, to take a wander round the Onny Meadows or to visit the latest exhibition in the Gallery. We also run a Visitor Information Centre - so we could give you ideas for days out and all sorts of information on the local area. Alternatively, you might want to take advantage of our free internet access, or browse the contents of the Local History Centre. You could even pop in to borrow a book as we're also the home of Craven Arms library, part of the countywide service. We also have a program of events and activities related to any or all of the things that we will do.
