About the venue
Brockholes nature reserve is an award-winning conference and events venue with a difference.
Managed by The Lancashire Wildlife Trust, Brockholes is based just off the M6 at Junction 31 near Preston and is a floating conference venue set in the heart of a Lancashire nature reserve. Our purpose built venue is situated on an iconic floating Visitor Village, offering fantastic conference, meeting, training and networking facilities – all of which makes Brockholes the natural place to do business. Surrounded by panoramic views of a stunning lake and the wildlife that calls it home, there are several conference and meeting rooms available for team building, product launches, staff training, recruitment days, meetings, conferences and corporate events. There is also complimentary car parking and Wifi for all delegates. Brockholes has proven to be a popular venue with a wide range of businesses and organisations across the region from government organisations, large corporate companies and non-profit organisations, to the health and education sectors and small and medium businesses. It has proved popular with judges and industry experts too, and was been shortlisted for Conference/Meeting Venue at the 2015 Lancashire Tourism Awards (having won the same award in 2013). Brockholes is also the perfect venue for corporate team building days, with over 200 acres of nature reserve to explore! Our experienced education team can deliver a range of activities specifically designed for corporate away days, with activities ranging from woodland team games and bushcraft to geocaching and guided wildlife walks. All profits from conference and event bookings are invested into The Lancashire Wildlife Trust’s conservation work on the nature reserve itself.
