Located just four miles from Liverpool city centre and five minutes from the M62 motorway, Childwall Abbey Hotel is within easy reach of the many attractions of the European Capital of Culture 2008.

After a day or night in the famous city, a short taxi ride will take you to the hotel, located in the quiet suburbs where you can be assured of a good night's sleep. The exact origins of the Childwall Abbey Hotel remain a mystery but the commonly held belief is that the original Abbey building dates as far back as the Doomsday Book. The building has been sympathetically restored and now offers seven comfortable bedrooms. The heart and soul of the hotel remains the pub itself, serving traditional food all day which can be enjoyed in the beautifully restored abbey building or outside in the patio area or beer garden.
