The Hotel de France, with its £12 million redevelopment due for completion on the 1st July 2005, offers an enviable choice of conference and leisure facilities.

The Hotel which at present has 269 bedrooms, provides a comprehensive residential conference venue, with a choice of 14 meeting rooms suitable for groups of all sizes. The largest meeting room, the Great Hall, seats 800 delegates theatre style. The luxurious Gallery Bar and Restaurant offers fine à la Carte dining complemented by an excellent wine list. The Atrium Brasserie provides informal dining together with a cosmopolitan bar, relaxed mezzanine lounge and boulevard café. The re-development of the North Wing of the Hotel has given the opportunity to both improve existing and introduce new facilities within the Hotel. In addition to the 26 new luxury rooms and master suites will be 5 new meeting rooms with capacities from 20 to 400. The extensive swimming pool complex will open onto landscaped gardens and will be complemented by a multi-purpose gym. The new Health and Beauty Spa will offer a variety of treatments in its 8 treatment rooms, a relaxation area and specialist pools. A further restaurant will be introduced to include a healthy dining choice together with a late night private resident's bar.
