About the venue

In its hey day, around 120 years ago, the Metropole was the social centre of Abertillery.

In recent years it fell into disrepair, but through European Funding and the support of the local community, it has been restored to become a state of the art conference centre. This superb facility can cater for conferences for 2 to 200 and is, once again, a cultural focus for the town. Our friendly and helpful conference team will ensure that your event is meticulously planned and arranged to your exact requirements, from room layouts to catering.
