About the venue
Newbury Racecourse is located in the centre of Berkshire, along the M4 corridor and is easily accessible by all major roads and rail links in the area.
The racecourse has a large range of rooms that can cater for events from 10 to over 1,000 delegates indoors as well as the option to hold larger scale team building of festival events outdoors. The Racecourse has four main stands including the newly purpose built, Owners Club. The largest indoor space is the award winning Grandstand which has areas suitable for conferences, exhibitions and dinners up to 550 guests. The Grandstand has wireless broadband on each floor as well as 63 amp 3 phase power available throughout, making it the largest and most flexible conference and exhibition centre in the area. The exhibition hall on the ground floor has over 1,000 sqm of pillar free space with a ceiling height of over 5m and access for cars and vans. The Berkshire Stand and Hampshire Stand also both offer excellent conference facilities. The Berkshire Stand has over 40 rooms available which can hold between 10 to 120 delegates, whilst the Hennessy Restaurant in the Hampshire Stand is a superb facility for conferences and dinners for up to 250 guests. For smaller events The Royal Box is available and is ideal for high profile meetings and dinners for up to 50 guests the area has recently been refurbished restoring it to an elegant but contemporary style with superb facilities. The most recent build, The Owners Club is a stunning, modern suite thanks to its floor to ceiling bi-fold doors. Size wise, it is a light and contemporary space for up to 220 and has wonderful views over the beautifully maintained lawns and landscaped parade ring. To make multiple day events even easier, the racecourse also has The Lodge, Newbury's 36 bedroom accommodation facility which offers luxurious super king bed as well as a delicious menu to chose from and relaxing surroundings. The racecourse has an abundance of outdoor space which can be used for team building and family fun days and areas suitable for motorised activities as well as more sedate 'glamping' events. The racecourse is well sign posted and benefits from over 3,000 free car parking spaces as well as its own railway station which operates seven days a week with regular services to Reading and London Paddington.
