NH Ravenna Italy

About the venue

The NH Ravenna hotel can be found in the center of historic Ravenna, where the city's greatest attractions await.

From the doors of the hotel you can walk to highlights such as the Basilica of San Giovanni Evangelista, and soak in the timeless ambiance of its old town district. Few cities in the world can claim eight UNESCO World Heritage monuments, and the NH Ravenna puts you right in the heart of it all. Byzantine mosaics from the fifth and sixth centuries are found around every corner. The Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, parts of it dating from 430 AD, is another important Heritage monument with breathtaking mosaics covering its interior surfaces. A short ride from the NH Ravenna hotel, Classe is a picturesque harbor town of Ravenna, and it hosts the Basilica of Sant'Apollinare in Classe, another Byzantine mosaic art monument. In Ravenna, art and entertainment go hand in hand, as you’ll see as you stroll past shops, bars, restaurants and pizzerias that sit in and around the romantic corners and wonderful historic buildings of the town.
