Burnsall in Wharfedale - one of the few totally unspoiled villages left in the whole of the country remains much the same way it has been for centuries.

The great oxbow of the River Wharfe curves its way sleepily under the magnificent five arch bridge and on through the village - which nestles at the foot of the imposing Burnsall Fell. The Red Lion at Burnsall, a 16th Century Ferryman's Inn, is situated in the heart of the village next to the river and is a successful conference venue for local and national companies. We have three conference rooms available each have been recently built, they combine the best of business facilities with the ambience and character of a traditional country village Inn.
