Manchester city centre and its varied and lively entertainment venues lies 20 minutes drive away to the north. Travel south for just 1 mile and you’ll find the busy, bustling town centre of Stockport with its excellent shopping centre and mainline train station. Keep travelling south and you will soon be experiencing the breathtaking scenery of the beautiful Peak District which surrounds nearby Buxton and Matlock, and extends eastwards through Derbyshire towards Yorkshire.
