About the venue
One of the first purpose-built all-seated football stadiums in the United Kingdom, McDiarmid Park was at the forefront of a new way of thinking – designed to provide not just excellent viewing, catering and ancillary facilities for football spectators but a range of rooms and suites which could be used seven days a week by businesses and the public alike for meetings, conferences and private celebrations.
The result was the creation of a first class facility of which St Johnstone Football Club and the City of Perth are rightly proud. The intervening years have seen the club build up a reputation as a top quality venue for business meetings, conferences and trade shows; private celebrations of dinner; birthday, anniversary and engagement parties; wedding receptions and christening parties. The stadium has also become an integral part of the Fair City's Christmas party night scene. All our suites are decorated and fitted out to a high standard, we have a range of presentation equipment available for hire and our chef has built a deserved reputation for the quality food.
