The Chop Houses of Manchester are institutions.

Mr Thomas?s and Sam?s were opened by the Studd brothers back in the late 1860s. At that time, our grade-ii listed building was home to the Unitarians. A haven for free-thinking revolutionaries. We added this historic building to The Victorian Chop House Company in 2012. We are still a family-owned independent business, championing the very best of British food & hospitality. And this year we have been awarded our record-breaking fourth Wine Spectator Award, recognising us as having one of the world?s best wine lists. Fine dining, hearty fresh-cooked comfort food, stunning wines, fabulous function rooms and gorgeous surroundings.
