The National Museums of Scotland offer a range of unusual and exciting venues each with a unique and impressive atmosphere in which to hold events.

The Royal Museum, in the heart of Edinburgh's historic old town, is one of Scotland's finest examples of Victorian architecture. Infinite slender columns, four curving staircases and ornamental fishponds create a sense of grace and elegance. The grandeur of this magnificent space is a sumptuous backdrop for an unrivalled dinner, film premier party of awards ceremony, accommodating up to 1500 guests for a reception or 650 guests for a dinner. The Museum of Scotland, adjacent to the Royal Museum, presents Scotland's history from its beginnings to the twenty first century. Hawthornden Court and The Early People Gallery are available for receptions and dinner for up to 100 guests. For smaller functions two of the most sought after venues in Scotland, the stunning circular Board and Bute Rooms are now available for private hire during the day and evening. In addition both Museums have fully equipped lecture theatres with competitive day delegate rates. Finally The Museum of Flight now boasts one of the most unusual settings for events in the country - the iconic G-BOAA Concorde. The supersonic venue at East Fortune, situated 20 miles outside Edinburgh in East Lothian, is the only Concorde Experience in the British Isles that allows events to be held inside the hanger where the glamorous plane rests. Events held at this unique venue offers guests the opportunity to climb aboard the plane, see inside the cockpit and gain a glimpse of the luxurious lifestyle of the jet's rich and famous passengers.
