About the venue

The Uplands Hotel and Restaurant is set in an old country house in two acres of gardens looking out over the Cartmel Peninsula and the Furness Peninsula.

Within 20 minutes of the M6 motorway and 10 minutes of the A590 the Uplands is accessible from many places. We want all who visit to enjoy our delicious home cooked food and a stay in our comfortable rooms. As a family owned business run by a team of dedicated, friendly staff providing excellent customer service is one of our top priorities. Unfortunately, this also means that we have little flexibility in changing check-in, check-out and breakfast times. As such we are often unsuitable for businesses travellers. Further, due to the type of bedrooms available we are unable to accommodate families.
