About the venue

Wyckhillhouse is in a "south-central" position, (facing north) between the M5 to the west and M40 to the east, 40 miles south of Birmingham, a 1½ hour direct train journey for London and Heathrow, or 20 minutes via helicopter! Under new management, Niche Hotels have invested in the all-round conference product for 2005, providing multi-media plasma screen functionality, upgraded fixed and consumable items as well as advancements in the bedroom experience with designer bed-linen by Frette, pocket sprung beds, furnishings and décor.

A country house with a business attitude. wyckhillhouse is a magnificent 18th Century Mansion House with 32 bedrooms and 5 conference rooms positioned in a 100 acre estate. Exclusivity can be offered to events creating an extra sense of corporate identity, privacy and total flexibility. The Mansion House has capacity for 80 theatre style and 80 private dining whilst a further 300 guests can be accommodated for a drinks reception in the marquee. Bespoke "away day" packages incorporating outdoor activities to take place on or off-site are created on individual request. wyckhillhouse has an imposing position elevated over a valley and set in a private estate of 100 acres. An intimate 18th Century Mansion House of 32 bedrooms and 5 conference rooms can be used exclusively for corporate and private clients. Numbers can increase by using the marquee capacity of 300 for a drinks reception. Location is key, being a few miles from the A40 which joins the M40 at Oxford to the west and to the east joins the M5 towards Bristol, 40 miles south of Birmingham and 1½ hours to London by road or direct train, or 20 minutes by helicopter. Niche Hotels acquired wyckhillhouse in 2004 and upgraded the conference and bedroom products whilst retaining the period charm and style. The fusion of contemporary and history is most obvious in The Heythrop Room by building the 50" plasma screen into a cherry wood credenza. Presentations are supported with surround sound whilst the delivery is not detracted from by unsightly cabling as the on-line input, volume and power feeds are sunken into the floor at the front and back of the room for absolute flexibility for the presenter. The Library, beautiful, oak-panelled on 3 sides and inter-connects to The Adam Room, typical Georgian style with an in-laid ceiling and original fireplace. Both rooms have French windows which open out to the terrace, croquet lawns and breathtaking views, creating the exquisite Mansion House meeting room and private dining experience. wyckhillhouse has successfully played host to prestigious exclusive-use product launches, film crews, corporate away-days through to the smaller strategic meetings requiring privacy, peace and responsive service to make the most of the precious time away from the office.
