Set in the heart of the Berkshire countryside, yet only 25 miles from Central London is an award winning Country House Hotel, where visitors can experience the unique atmosphere of a fine Queen Anne Mansion set in 15 acres of peaceful gardens. Built in 1705, for the Churchill family, the Hotel has had a varied history, being more recently the home of Colonel Horlicks of 'Horlicks' drinks fame. The Hotel still retains the intimacy of a private country estate, yet today it extends a level of luxury and service found only in the very best hotels in the world. In addition to the 63 recently refurbished bedrooms, all of which have the features associated with a modern Hotel, there is also an indoor swimming and spa pool, sauna's and two outdoor tennis courts. The Stateroom Restaurant offers an exceptional level of Rosetted cuisine, freshly prepared by our talented and imaginative chefs.
