    The Green Park Conference Centre is the perfect meeting place for business. Located on the ground floor of 100 Longwater Avenue, the centre hosts a tranquil view over Longwater Lake and the surrounding landscaped scenery of Green Park. Following a major refurbishment at the end of 2012, the Conference Centre offers Grade A conferencing facilities with an executive feel. The Centre offers flexible space which allows it to cater for any requirement from a one-to-one review or a team meeting, up to a conference for 200 delegates. If you’re travelling by car, Green Park has direct access to the M4 at Junction 11. If you’re travelling by train, the local station is Reading which is an 8 minute taxi ride away or you can take the bus between Reading and Green Park which runs every 10 minutes and will drop you off right outside the Conference Centre. London Heathrow Airport is also just a 30 minute drive along the M4. Our in-house catering team provide a superb hospitality service with the flexibility to serve anything from a simple working buffet lunch to outside BBQs on the decking or delicious canapés, ideal for networking events. Meeting rooms can be booked by a room hire rate or as day delegate packages. The centre can cater for all AV and equipment requirements, with built in projectors and screens, telephone and video conference facilities, PA system with microphones, lecterns, portable plasma HD TV screens, staging, flipcharts and a centrally controlled system to manage lighting, blinds and sound volume. The building in which the Conference Centre is situated offers a fully array of facilities including a front reception desk, 24 hour security, ample free parking, free WiFi, an executive lounge and Byte Café which serves a full menu of hot and cold options throughout the working day. As we’re located in the business community of Green Park, there are also a range of outdoor activities available which are free for all guests to use including, the rowing boats on the lake, a trim trail and the footpaths around the Park which lead you off on a scenic tour where you can spot a whole spectrum of wildlife along the way.     Our meeting room is open plan with a kitchen area, about 500 square feet with oak flooring and lovely natural light on the top floor of an old Georgian building. There is some parking for up to 4 cars by arrangement and a safe paying car park is about 5 minutes walk away. Based in central Reading, it is easily accessible by train and 25 minutes from Paddington.It is five minutes walk away from a large number of riverside restaurants and bars for dining out at the end of a hard day. The venue can be arranged for training or meetings for 12 to 16 people and has plenty of break out areas. It is also suitable for doing smaller group work and for therapy sessions. With free wi-fi and phone, an on site host can be available at an extra cost to make drinks for clients and tidy up during the day.The rental price includes 3 flipchart stands, pens and paper, projection screen, Wi Fi TV, conference stationary, tea and coffee supplies and sweeties and tasty catering can be arranged as well with 24 hours notice. Additional equipment can be hired if required. We can also provide photography/ video services by prior arrangement. It is available 24/7 7 days per week 50 weeks of the year often at short notice. Weekends are charged at the same rate. Additional equipment charges will be invoiced to the client directly with a small handling charge applied.
