    Housed in Claverton Manor on the outskirts of the Georgian city of Bath, the American Museum in Britain opened to the public in July 1961 with the intention of fostering historic ties between the United States and the United Kingdom. The American Museum is celebrated for its magnificent decorative arts collection – over 200 historic American quilts, exceptional pieces of Shaker furniture, exuberant folk art paintings and sculptures, Native American objects, and Renaissance maps of the New World. We now have several areas available for conferences, wedding receptions, workshops, and private events in our newly refurbished Stables and Coach House within the Museum grounds or in the Orangery Café. Coach House & Stable block. These renovated rooms can be used for conferences, weddings, presentations and meetings. They can be hired as three individual spaces or as one area for the ability to use ‘breakout’ rooms or catering. These rooms are accessible for wheelchair users and an accessible toilet is situated within the Coach House. Cars can drop off/pick up from these facilities should wheelchair users prefer due to the gradient of the path leading to this area. Marquees for private events or wedding receptions can be accommodated on the South Lawn. Catering is separate and coordinated between the client and an approved outside caterer chosen from a list provided by the Museum. Audio Visual equipment is installed (projectors & screens in Stables and Seminar room, sound equipment (PA) in Stables. Wi-fi is available. Induction loops are fitted in all public rooms.

    Finding a memorable venue for your special occasion, conference or event can be a real headache. So here's an idea which is original, hassle free and guaranteed to be remembered! Why not hold your event among Europe's largest collection of Naval aircraft or even under Concorde? You can have a cocktail reception on the flight deck of the 'HMS ARK ROYAL' See the Fleet Air Arm in action in the 'Flight Deck Experience'. Dine in style under the first British built Concorde! Up to 250 people may be accommodated comfortably under Concorde and a bar and dance floor can be added for your enjoyment. The Fleet Air Arm Museum has four exhibition halls and four conference rooms available for groups of any size up to 400 people. Private catering can be arranged to suit your budget, alternatively the Museum has a licensed restaurant open to the public. There is excellent disabled access, ample free parking and a shop which is stocked with a ride range of aviation-related gifts, clothing and confectionery. After your event or during break-out sessions, you can take full advantage of the Museum. You can go on board Concorde or be 'transported' by a simulated helicopter flight to the replica flight deck of the aircraft carrier 'HMS Ark Royal'. A combination of two enormous projection screens coupled with ten real aircraft put you in the heart of the action as powerful jet fighters take off and land around you. You'll experience the thrills and sounds of a working flight deck, and even see a nuclear bomb, all of which makes this a truly unforgettable venue. The Museum is situated alongside Europe's largest military Air Station where, depending upon operational demands, you are likely to see Sea King, Lynx and Merlin helicopters and other Naval aircraft going through their rigorous training procedures.

    The Royal College of Art is one of the world’s best known postgraduate art and design universities, and our students’ work is shown throughout the year in the extensive College galleries. These galleries are also available to hire for external exhibitions and events, and represent a vital contribution to the College’s Student Fund, which exists to support future generations of artists and designers. Designed in the early 1960s by modernist master HT Cadbury-Brown (1913-2009), the Grade-II listed building has been praised as, ‘an extraordinary building contextually that respects the Victorian buildings around it’. The Royal College of Art is situated in Kensington, west London, next to the imposing Royal Albert Hall and opposite Kensington Gardens. This prime location makes the College easily accessible by both bus and underground. The galleries consist of eight exhibition spaces: the Entrance Gallery, the Upper Gulbenkian Gallery, the Lower Gulbenkian Gallery, the Henry Moore Gallery, the Link Gallery and the three Courtyard Galleries. The College also has a fully equipped lecture theatre. In addition, the exclusive Senior Common Room, which houses part of the College’s famous collection of art, provides an ideal venue for private receptions and dinners. The galleries comprise a total of 1,532 square metres of white space, and form one of the finest venues for hire in London. These spaces are available together or individually, and are a ‘blank canvas’ that can easily be reconfigured to suit any event.

    The Gallery is a blank canvas, central London events venue available for exclusive hire for product launches, exhibitions, meetings, parties or functions.
