    The Hatton Gallery houses one of the largest and most handsome exhibition spaces in North East England. It stages a highly-regarded programme of historical, modern and contemporary art exhibitions, and over recent years this programme has included major historical monographs, diverse partnership projects and exciting new commissions from leading contemporary artists. The gallery also has its own collection of paintings, drawings, prints and sculpture from the 15th to the 20th centuries by a diverse range of artists. The Gallery can accommodate up to a maximum of 400 guests in a series of interconnecting spaces and is a wonderful venue for drinks receptions. The city centre location is easily accessible and some parking is available.

    Refurbished in 2009, this fantastic venue offers an exciting alternative in which to hold your event. Whether you are organising a conference, meeting or networking event, wedding or party this venue provides an unforgettable experience. The museum features a large exhibition space of almost 500m2 which has two retractable walls allowing the room to be fully subdivided and offers great versatility. Registration desks can be set up in the corridor outside of the room with refreshments served just inside the door. LCD projectors can project directly onto the walls of the exhibition space and the floor to ceiling window all have black out blinds. The Clore Learning Centre is a suite of two rooms which can be hired separately or as one larger space. Both rooms are equipped with full data projection facilities. Registration desks can be set up in the corridor outside of the room with refreshments served just inside the door. The windows running along two sides of the room have black out blinds. There is also an attractive Council room available for hire on the second floor. Lined with Victorian bookcases and boasting stunning views over the city, it makes a unique setting for a maxium of 12 people for a board meeting. All refreshments are served on a table at the back of the room.

    Segedunum Roman Fort stands as a lasting testimony to the awesome power of the Roman Empire. It was the last link in a chain of fortifications which stretched across the country and formed the mighty northern boundary of Hadrian's Wall. For almost 300 years Segedunum, which means 'strong fort', was home to 600 Roman soldiers. Today, Segedunum is once again the gateway to this world-famous heritage site. Guests can enjoy the reconstructed Roman bath house, modern visitor centre with interactive computer simulations and view the remains of the fort from the viewing tower. Segedunum houses an attractive self-contained function suite, with modern facilities and easy access to the fort. The Daniels Room is a flexible space, popular for training sessions and workshops.
