CONFERENCES AND MEETINGS AT PORTMEIRION Portmeirion is a private village set on its own wooded peninsula overlooking Cardigan Bay in North Wales. Surrounding the village on three sides are 145 acres of woods and farmland and the whole peninsula is girt by miles of sandy beaches. Portmeirion's sheltered coastal location coupled with the warming influence of the Gulf Stream result in mild, frost free Winters which enable many rare subtropical trees and shrubs to flourish here. The venue is suitable both for small, top level meetings and for large corporate hospitality events. All or part of the village and its grounds can be taken over for the duration of the event. We are ideal for meetings up to 20 people so that you have the space suited for conducive results. You will never share the conference facilities with any other organisation. The meeting room is adjacent to the hotel and offers a spacious room with comfortable seating in quiet surroundings with natural light from four big windows. Ample power points and telephone connections are situated around the room. An overhead projector, flipcharts and television and video are provided at no extra charge. Light projectors can be hired if needed. The meeting room also has a wireless broadband network that will allow wireless enabled laptops to log on to the web simply. The main room has the flexibility to be laid as boardroom style (as in the picture) or in a theatre style arrangement. For boardroom style the maximum seating capacity is 20 and 40 is the maximum for a theatre style layout. The room measures 9.5m x 4.25m. The ante room provides additional space for breakouts and refreshments and there are ladies and gentlemen's cloakrooms. In summer we find groups working outside under the shade of a tree or in winter next to the fire in the lounge.
