    Situated in London’s Little Venice we are a pleasant 15 minute stroll from Paddington station, or less than 5 minutes walk from Warwick Avenue tube, Bakerloo line. Formerly a 19th century Welsh Presbyterian Chapel the building was sensitively renovated in 1989. In keeping with the original purpose of the building Amadeus Limited (ACL) bequeaths all of its profits to Subud, an international charitable organisation committed to doing good works in the world, affiliated with the United Nations. Because of our charitable status we do not to charge VAT, greatly reducing our prices. The building itself boasts an impressive Upper Hall, a more intimate Lower Hall (originally the Crypt), kitchen and cafe area, plus two modern meeting rooms. It is compact enough for exclusive use, but flexible enough to accommodate two smaller groups. Our clients frequently refer to the building having a level of comfort and ‘feeling at home’ that sets us apart.

    The 20th Century Theatre is a great place for conferences and meetings. Victorian theatre built in 1860 now a grade II English Heritage listed building. 1800 sq. ft. plus adjoining reception room located in Notting Hill Gate. The 20th Century Theatre is a Grade II listed English Heritage Building, now a fully restored London venue. Built around 1860, it was used as a theatre prior to becoming the London Opera School and a venue for professional and amateur theatre groups. Charles Dickens is known to have read his stories from the stage in 1862 whilst Laurence Olivier made his debut here as well. The Theatre is now available for private hire. The area comprises 1800 square feet of floor space in the main Theatre. An additional 650 square feet is available on stage with a 300 square foot gallery. Note that the venue provides only one room, with a balcony and stage area.

    Porchester Hall a 1929 art deco Grade II listed building, situated in the City of Westminster. Stepping into you are captivated by the grandeur of the elegant staircase with its ornamental bronze and wrought iron banisters, striking marble walls and crystal chandeliers. The quaint small hall is ideal for small meetings of up to 50 people and can be incorporated into hire of the main hall.     The Radlett Centre is a high calibre and immaculately maintained building with facilities to service a variety of needs. LARGER FUNCTIONS/MEETINGS The fully equipped theatre has electronic raked seating and can accommodate 300 people. With the seating away it converts into a function/conference hall which comfortably holds 180 people for a seated meal, or more with a combination of seated and standing. It is very popular for barmitzvahs and wedding receptions. SMALLER GATHERINGS The Radlett Centre has three rooms suitable for meetings of between 2 and 50 people. These are available to hire for a minimum of two hours at very competitive rates. The Manager will be pleased to advise which room best suits your needs and budget. CATERING We are able to supply a range of catering to meet your specific requirements. This includes tea, coffee and other drinks, plus buffets to fit your budget. We also have a fully stocked licensed bar. THEATRE The theatre has excellent technical facilities and is suitable for a wide variety of medium scale productions. A specification sheet is available from the Technical Manager (01923 856011) or may be downloaded from the link below. The auditorium can be set up in a number of layouts up to a maximum of 300 seats, with an option for an orchestra pit. Backstage facilities include dressing rooms with showers, Green Room, scenery dock and kitchen. Our computerised box office is open 10am - 4pm Monday - Saturday and 45 minutes before an evening performance (01923 859291). FUNCTION/CONFERENCE HALL The theatre converts into a spacious hall that is ideal for large gatherings. Coloured uplighters can be used to give a warm effect for private parties, contrasting with a brighter and more business-like appearance for conferences, craft fairs and other commercial uses. Hire includes our banqueting furniture, the stage, reception area, staffed licensed bar and Duty Manager. DOUGLAS HICKS ROOM A prestigious room on the first floor with balcony windows. This is suitable for more formal gatherings, for examples AGMs, training sessions and business meetings. The room comfortably accommodates up to 50 people depending on the layout required. TV & Video, overhead projector, screen and flip charts are available. MEETING ROOM 2 Although less formal than the Douglas Hicks Room, Meeting Room 2 is perfect for classes, training sessions and general Meetings for around 20 people.
